The Troia Peninsula, in Portugal,
used to be a de facto natural reservation,
until recently : they've just built a brand new
beach resort and casino, and the area is getting
more built by the year. So they thought, hey that's
too bad for the bats who used to live here -- let's
build a bat shelter so they can keep coming...
That contraption is so big that I could sneak
inside it and take these pictures. Only
thing is: I didn't see any dropping
in there. So I guess that
